Dayna, Veterinary Office Assistant

Dayna graduated with honours from Veterinary Office Assistant Program at Robertson College in May 2017. She joined the Exclusively cats team that same month. She always knew she wanted to work with animals from a young age. Dayna has one cat named Diamond who she loves dearly. Dayna loves welcoming and assisting our clients and patients. In her spare time she loves to watch movies and travel.

Susan Carriere, Veterinary Technician

Susan graduated from both the Veterinary Assistant and Veterinary Technician programs at Northern College in Haileybury, Ontario. She decided to embark on a new journey and made the big move to Manitoba. She joined the Exclusively Cats team in July of 2015. Born and raised on a farm, Susan has spent her entire life surrounded by animals. She has a very soft spot for cats though, especially orange tabbys and Bengals! She has four cats; Freddie, Peachie, Yoshi and Ozzie who were all either rescued or adopted. She also has a small dog named Riley who thinks he is a cat as well. She loves coming to work every day and helping to keep your pet comfortable and safe during its stay. She strives to provide the best possible service to our clients. She enjoys assisting Dr.Broughton while he is performing examinations, treatments and surgical procedures. During her spare time Susan loves anything outdoors, from ATVing to camping. She has a strong passion for horseback riding.

Ronald, Greeter/Security Officer

ronald

Ronald has been with us since the spring of 2017. He was originally one of Dr. Broughton's house cats until he decided he didn't enjoy living with cats. Ronald came into Dr. Broughton's life with his mother and 4 other siblings when they were discovered living under a dumpster behind a local restaurant. His mother (Luna) and one of his sisters (Bibbs) currently reside with Dr. Broughton's family. Ronald enjoys greeting clients, especially young children and never turns down a belly rub. He is affectionately known as "Chunk" due to his excessive girth when he first came to us but under Susan's strict supervision he is slowly but surely slimming down. He can usually be found lounging somewhere in the clinic, often in Dr. Broughton's office, where for some strange reason he gets the "good chair."
